Rooms & Suites

At the St. Elmo Hotel, we offer a variety of unique room types to suit every guest. From our Main Street Suite with its stunning patio views, to the Cascade Suite, Alpenglow Suite, and Double Queen Rooms, each space offers its own charm and character.

Please note: Rooms 1 and 10 are our only first-floor accommodations. All other rooms require walking up one flight of stairs.

    Room No. 1

    Room One is a deluxe queen size room on the first floor. This room features a small sitting area with scenic mountain views and a bathroom with a stand-in shower. If you’re looking for convenience, it is the closest room to the hot tub, dining room, and the rear entrance of the hotel.

    Room No. 2: The Cascade Suite

    The Cascade Suite is a large suite on the second floor with an exclusive view of Main St. and of the famous Ouray mountain amphitheater. This room includes both king and queen sized beds, a spacious sitting area, and a bathroom with a shower-tub combo.

    Room No. 3: The Alpenglow Suite

    The Alpenglow Suite is a queen suite with a half canopy bed on the second floor. It has great views facing Main St. and of the breathtaking Ouray mountain amphitheater. This suite is a favorite of our honeymooners or couples looking for a romantic getaway. Included in the room is a sitting area and shower-tub combo in the bathroom.

    Room No. 4

    Room Four is a deluxe queen size room on the second floor. Relax at the sitting area with a good book or enjoy the view of the mountains. The bathroom has a shower-tub combo.

    Room No. 5

    Room Five is a deluxe double queen size room on the second floor. This room is split by a Jack and Jill bathroom, making it a great option for guests who are looking for a little privacy within their group. The bathroom has a stand-in shower and vanity sinks in-room.

    Room No. 6

    Room Seven is a deluxe double queen size room on the second floor. The open layout of the room makes it a great option for guests with a small group that enjoy staying together. The bathroom includes a stand-in shower.

    Room Eight is one of our most popular rooms and one guests love returning to. This deluxe queen size room includes a sitting area, scenic mountain views, and a unique brick wall that is original to the hotel. The bathroom includes a stand-in shower.

    Room No. 9

    Room Nine is a deluxe king size room. This room includes a sitting area and beautiful mountain views. The bathroom has a shower-tub combo. Couples love this room because of the large single king bed and how peaceful it can be at the back of the hotel.

    Room No. 9: The Main St. Suite

    Our Main St. Suite is our largest room and most recently renovated with modern updates. In contrast to the victorian style of the hotel this suite features a Colorado aesthetic with handmade Aspen log furniture. Exclusive to this suite only is a spacious private patio with Main St. access, two flat screen TV’s, a large steam shower, and a kitchenette. At 520 sq. ft. this suite is about the size of a studio apartment making it a great option for someone interested in an extended stay. Furnished with a queen size bed and two queen size futons, the suite can accommodate up to six guests.

Reservations

The St. Elmo is a smoke-free establishment. All our guest rooms are non-smoking rooms. Room rates are based on occupancy and rooms do not have telephones or televisions. We do not allow pets.

An outdoor hot tub is available for our guests. Complimentary breakfast buffet.
