The Bon Ton is a romantic Colorado restaurant where you can experience upscale casual dining with an Italian flair, serving prime Angus steaks, fresh seafood and pasta, complemented by a Wine Spectator award-winning wine list, and Martini bar. Located downstairs in the St. Elmo Hotel in Ouray, CO; the restaurant is warmly decorated with rock walls, hardwood floors and a beautiful bar. The Bon Ton has been one of western Colorado’s favorites for more than 20 years.

You can begin your dining experience with one of our delightful appetizers, such as Escargot & Crawfish Tails or Chef's Antipasto. Our wide selection of entrees features such selections as Beef Wellington, Veal Piccata and Grilled Salmon.

And since there is always room for dessert, you could try our Black Nasty, a decadent chocolate fudge pie with a graham cracker crust, or Bread Pudding with hard sauce or Galloping Goose Caboose, an ice cream sundae with coffee and vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and Kahlua. The Bon Ton also serves a Champagne Brunch each Sunday. Advance reservations are recommended for dinner.

A wonderful starter of aged Genoa salami, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, provolone cheese, roasted red peppers, imported Italian olives and onions, smoked Gouda cheese, and pepperocini peppers.

With brandied demi-glace.

Smoked Salmon
Thin slices of salmon served with melba toasts, red onions, capers & creamy horseradish sauce.

Bear Creek Mushrooms
Fresh button mushrooms sauteed in Madeira wine, butter, red peppers & garlic.

Pasta Trilogy
A trio of pastas - angel hair with pesto, spinach fettuccine with alfredo and spaghetti with marinara.

Charbroiled Angus beef 8 oz. tenderloin wrapped in bacon & served with Bordelaise sauce & herb butter, potatoes and garden vegetables.

Grilled Rack of Lamb
Colorado lamb chops served with a jalapeno mint sauce, potatoes and garden vegetables.

Scampi Bon Ton
Prawns sauteed with garlic, shallots & fresh basil in a sherry cream sauce. Served on a bed of fettuccine with garden vegetables.

Mixed Grille
4 oz. Angus beef tenderloin with Bordelaise sauce & 3 large shrimp marinated in ginger, honey & soy. Served with potatoes and garden vegetables.

Grilled Salmon
Fresh grilled salmon with a rich lemon and chive cream sauce. Served with Chef’s Rice and garden vegetables.

Veal Piccata
Thinly sliced veal sauteed with butter, shallots, mushrooms, capers, white wine & lemon juice.  Served with pasta and garden vegetables.
